Every year, Brit Week in Los Angeles honors prominent people and raises funds for important causes. This year, Piers Morgan was chosen and honored at the gala event, “An Evening With Piers Morgan”. The event benefited Children’s Hospital LA and was held at the gorgeous Beverly Wilshire Hotel (famous from the movie, “Pretty Woman”).

Katherine Jenkins, a mezzo-soprano and contestant on Season 14 of Dancing With The Stars  performed at this wonderful gala as well as our own Mr. Michael Johns!
We couldn’t be any prouder of him!!

UPDATED: RED CARPET INTERVIEWS..HEAR MJ SING A FEW BARS AT 2:03!!

Celebrity Fight Night is a huge star studded event that has raised over $70 million over the past 17 years benefitting The Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute and other charities.
Awards are also given out at the event as a way to pay tribute to business leaders, entertainment and sports communities who represent qualities associated with The Champ and his determination to find a cure for Parkinson’s. Two of this years winners are NFL great, Larry Fitzgerald and Bill Austin, the CEO of Starkey…congratulations!

The gala, emceed by Reba McIntyre consisted of a live auction, a gourmet dinner and some very special entertainment from stars. Some of the performances were from Lionel Ritchie, Rascal Flatts, Jackie Evancho, Rita Wilson (wife of Tom Hanks) and again this year, our favourite and shining star, Michael!!

Michael and Rita performed “ALL I DO IS DREAM” by The Everly Brothers..just WOW!!! I wonder how many of us would have given our eye teeth to hear that! I can imagine it was absolutely amazing!

All of the fans are so proud of Michael for again supporting and giving his time and talent to this wonderful charity event…just one of the many reasons why we all love him.
We hope that this year’s event raised a ton of money!!

MJ LEADING THE GROUP FINALE PERFORMING ALL RIGHT NOW

Performing for the Hard Rock Hotel launch Party in downtown Toronto, Michael and his pals Blake Lewis, Matt Giraud, Tim Urban and Didi Benami thoroughly entertained the guests!

MJ rocked Proud Mary which was the perfect choice to get everyone going! The atmosphere was electric as soon as MJ started to sing…a great way to start it off! He also performed Free Falling, To Love Somebody, Benny And The Jets (group song) and rocked the hell out of We Are The Champions! I am always struck at how beautiful and powerful his voice is and what a gift MJ has for engaging the audience. ROCKSTAR!!

Barney, Bob The Builder, Angelina Ballerina and Thomas The Tank Enginer were on hand and Angelina and Barney both took a small spin with MJ during Champs!

Matt, Blake, Didi and Tim were great and Hard Rock was treated to some fabulous talent from them too!

Correction here: (it was very loud and hard to hear) Some great news from Michael was that he was in the UK earlier in March arranging shows for both Wimbledon and The Olympics with the Bryans! The other is that he is scheduled to open and perform a duet with Tony Bennett at one of his shows and he will be at Muhammad Ali’s Fight Night later this month so stay tuned when we should have more exciting details!

Guests attending New Year’s Eve Barefoot Formal at the beautiful Casa Dorada Resort and Spa in Cabot San Lucas were treated to an evening of incredible singing, lots of fabulous dancing and huge amounts of fun.
Kudos to musical director, Michael Orland who we know and love from American Idol.
According to tweets, looks like everyone had an amazing time…what a way to end 2011 and bring in the new year!
Included in the Idol lineup was our shining star, Michael and his talented pals, Melinda Doolittle, Ricky Smith and LaToya London. So many fabulous dancers too!! “Dancing with the Stars” performers included Louis Van Amstel, Anna Trebunskaya, Jonathan Roberts, Chelsie Hightower and Dmitry Chaplin. “So You Think You Can Dance” dancers were Allison Holker and Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss.

It was great that both Lori and Dawn were able to make it to the show. Hopefully, “Pastyann”, from our blog was able to make it too!!
What a great cause!! By all accounts, they had a fabulous time and brought us back some wonderful media. Thanks ladies!!
The bands for the evening were rockin’ and Michael, always amazing! The guys in the Jonas band played first. Next up was Jeff Foxworth’s band, Weekend Excursion, and then MJ who performed 4 fan-favourite songs with Jeff and then 1 song with W.E. The final and very special treat of the evening was MJ singing some of his new Christmas song to the girls

Michael and Syesha (also American Idol Season 7) performed following Celebrity Bowling for Maggies Hope Benefit at IPic Entertainment at Bayshore Town Center Mall in Milwaukee.  This benefit on September 2, was to help families with children experiencing autism.  Again, MJ gave his time and talent (bowling and singing) to another wonderful charity.
