It was great that both Lori and Dawn were able to make it to the show. Hopefully, “Pastyann”, from our blog was able to make it too!!
What a great cause!! By all accounts, they had a fabulous time and brought us back some wonderful media. Thanks ladies!!
The bands for the evening were rockin’ and Michael, always amazing! The guys in the Jonas band played first. Next up was Jeff Foxworth’s band, Weekend Excursion, and then MJ who performed 4 fan-favourite songs with Jeff and then 1 song with W.E. The final and very special treat of the evening was MJ singing some of his new Christmas song to the girls :)

Michael and Syesha (also American Idol Season 7) performed following Celebrity Bowling for Maggies Hope Benefit at IPic Entertainment at Bayshore Town Center Mall in Milwaukee.  This benefit on September 2, was to help families with children experiencing autism.  Again, MJ gave his time and talent (bowling and singing) to another wonderful charity.

Fans of both MJ and Syesha attended the performance and tweeted that they had a wonderful time.  Tweeters said that MJ did a wonderful version of  “Sweet Caroline”!! Keeping our eyes peeled for any videos to appear :)

Michael recently participated in the 2-day Liberty Cup Charity Golf Tournament event in Jersey City, NY. Looks like it was such a great time and a very good cause.  Not sure how his golf game was, but for sure his performance was amazing as always!

LPGA champion Cristie Kerr hosted the inaugural Liberty Cup Charity Golf Tournament at PhD at the Dream Downtown hotel. The evening served as a pre-party for today’s golfing tournament featuring LPGA and PGA players, as well as celebrities like Kyle MacLachlan , Ray Allen, Andy North, and Michael Johns, who will be teeing off to Benefit Birdies for Breast Cancer.

Cristie founded the Birdies for Breast Cancer Foundation in 2003 and has raised over $1million for breast cancer organizations, including the founding of the Cristie Kerr Women’s Health Center at Jersey City Medical Center. After playing 18 holes of golf today, guests will continue the party with dinner, an awards ceremony and the Caesars Celebrity Poker Tournament.

WOW!! Looks like an awesome and action packed time at the Moon Palace Resort’s 2011 “Summer With The Stars” event!! MJ appears in the video a couple of times..once swinging his golf club and the other upon stage…check out those fangirls up at the stage when MJ is singing!! What a star he is!!!! :)
You will see lots of familiar faces and based on tweets during and since the event..everyone seems to have had a blast!!

 Michael sang the National Anthem again this year to open the KSWISS Desert Smash two day charity event. As usual, he did an outstanding job! Click on  LINK to see the Facebook video.   Proceeds from this event supports various children’s charitys in California’s Coachella Valley.  Again, MJ lending his time and talent to such a worthy charity! 

Michael played in the sold out Pro Am tennis match where we understand he did very well :) Other big tennis names playing included Caroline Wozniacki, Sam Querrey, the Bryan Brothers and Mardi Fish. MJ later performed with the Bryan Brothers Band at the gala event!  All the attendees were treated to some fantastic music..an amazing day of tennis and music! :)

Common Threads is a wonderful charity that teaches low-income children how to cook wholesome and affordable meals and to educate them on the importance of nutrition and physical well-being.  They also teach children to celebrate cultural differences and the things people all over the world have in common.  Currently, they serve 1000 children each year in 18 sites across the USA. 

So proud that MJ is lending his support to this fantastic charity for children and their families!!!
