Thanks to a tweet from @Scott_Erickson, we found out that Michael recorded a song yesterday for a new NBC show!! The song was co-written by Scott Erickson and Greg Gersosky.
This is such exciting news and all the fans can’t wait to hear more about it!!!!

In terms of album releases, 2009 was a banner year for Idol fans.
We got new music from five of Idols’ first six winners — Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks and Jordin Sparks.
