    Went back and watched the AI 2008 version of this. Maybe it’s the tux but Michael sure looks in control and very professional compared to the AI performance that was very good but lacked some of the cool showmanship in this gig. Granted performing on Idol has gotta be very stressful but 2 years of mostly solo performances has given Michael the confidance to comand the stage and hold the audience’s attention. Way to go bud…keep up the good work

    Agree and disagree with markmywords… Dream On on AI wasn’t granted…
    It was AI GIVE BACK WEEK – extremely important point. NOBODY CAN
    ELIMINATE THIS WEEK. A LOT OF PEOPLE DID NOT VOTE BECAUSE OF THAT. MICHAEL HAD SO STRONG POSITION ON AI COMPETITION.. DREAN ON WAS A STAR PERFORMANCE BUT MICHAEL WAS ELIMINATED ANY WAY. I remember my shock..It was one of the biggest shocks in my life…Lowest number of votes ??? What ??? Eliminated ??? O. NO….I remember, Michael, yours ” It’s better to be A HAS BEEN THEN NEVER WAS…
    Well, Michael ! YOU’RE A WINNER. You didn’t win AI, but YOU WON OUR SOULS.
