Australia Day LA – CANCELLED

Due to unforeseeable and inexplicable reasons, our food and beverage partner for the day of the event has pulled out at the last minute leaving the Australia Day LA event organizers no other choice but to cancel the event.

This decision hasn’t been made lightly but seeing that we are unable to replace the food and beverage partner on such short notice, the authenticity of the event has been compromised.

The notice received, less than 11 days from the event, left no time to organize another vendor partner and to make sure that 1/3rd of the event, being the food and beverage, was truly Australian.

Having an Australia Day celebration event without Australian food and beverage would be like our American friends having a 4th of July event without fireworks.

All efforts have been exhausted in trying to rectify this situation but the time period proved unbeatable. To this end, the Australia Day LA 2010 event has to be cancelled and rescheduled for 2011.

We sincerely apologize to all who wanted to attend the event and to those that have made arrangements to attend.
