Reminder: Australia Day LA!

Each January 26th, Australia Day commemorates the arrival of the First Fleet, led by British Captain Arthur Phillip, at Sydney Cove in 1788. The Australia Day LA event celebrates this with, among other events, a celebrity concert featuring various Aussie entertainers, at the Fairplex in Pomona.
This event has been posted about this previously, but this is just a reminder to those in the LA area it is on the 24th of January, 2010, so get your tickets now! General admission tickets to Australia Day LA are $29.95 and VIP tickets $59.95, but use the code “mjrocks” when purchasing them to receive a 25% discount off ticket prices! Ticket sales close January 19th, with no GA or VIP tickets available on the day of, so make sure you get them soon. Alternatively, a contest is being held to win tickets to the event. If you’re so inclined, feel free to take part in the raffle for a chance to win a trip to Sydney!
Although the event is set to run from 11am to 7pm, Michael’s set to perform around 4pm, so come on out, have some good food, a good time, and support Michael!
