Twitter, and Atlanta!

Date October 29, 2009

First up, Michael’s changed his twitter name from @mjohnsmusic to @michael_johns, so in the event that Twitter hasn’t automatically updated that, make sure you’re following the right account!

Secondly, Atlanta! Michael performed a 3.5 hour set at the Tin Roof Cantina a couple of days ago, which Tina and Kimberley attended. He performed a host of songs he used to play back in the day there, so have one here – Champagne Supernova.

Champagne Supernova – Thanks, Kimberley!

Also, check out some of Kimberly’s pictures under the cut:

It seems that Michael’s also singing a new song during the David Foster show – the Love Theme from Urban Cowboy, which David Foster said they’d decided to try out, a little unrehearsed. They still sound great though, so check out Tina’s video below!

Love Theme from Urban Cowboy – Thanks, Tina!

Makes coming back home to my desk job seem a bit BORING…such is life.

OH MY GOD!!! SWOOOOON!! and no rehearsals !! That was like seeing real talent in motion!!

David, you HAVE to get Michael to sing this song in full, the whole works!! That is such a great song and Michael does it more than justice. Let’s just say you will do all womankind a huge favour ;) :) Even the drummer looked like he was getting into it..

Michael you just blow me away!! I have been catching up on all the vids from your tour with Brooke and this Hitman tour and I have seen you from just playing your own guitar with your own songs to full rock mode with your buddy Kevin on Are You Gonna Go My Way and then there is Heart Is Weak. Diane Warren should be very pleased.Magnificent live all of them.

I’m with all of you..You- all- expressed my feelings.. I have to add that David
Foster is making the best of Michael to show us. David has a majical touch..
I read on his website, somebody wrote , Everybody from David’s touch transformed into GOLD. As a highest level musician with his highest experience, David Foster mistakelessly can see talent as Michael , introduce and develop the best sides of singers voices, In this song Michael is his best. Just beautiful.

I was at Tin Roof and was blown away by the whole experience. It was so great to see him perform for 3 1/2 hrs in a small bar just minutes from my apartment! He is amazing on many levels :)
