Hope you had a good time. I heard you singing on our speed channel during the pre-race events. I was watching another interview and heard a familiar voice in the background…it was you!!!!!!!!!!!! Like Jane said…I immediately wanted them to shush….good thing I had my dvr on! PS – you look great in that Patron suit.

Wow……so now I’m hoping that Michael will wear that Patron racing jumpsuit on his solo tour and come out and sing “Baby You Can Drive My Car” or something. Haha!

Hi! Does anyone have JUST MICHAEL SINGING anywhere? I can hear him in the background & it just kills me not to just hear HIM, because it sounds like he did one heck of a beatiful Job! I’m not surprised.
As Michael is now as American as apple pie and it must make him so happy to be able to sing America the Beautiful.
I’ve read in interviews that the American National Anthem is his very favourite song to sing ever.
You can’t have it both ways, but it’s still a bit of a pity that us Aussies will never officially hear him sing Advance Australia Fair as that right is reserved only for Australians. But I’m glad his adopted country at least gets to hear him sing their anthems so well.
Although Michael has sang our National Anthem..America The Beautiful is not Our Anthem. ( I wish it was)
I have also read in interviews of many song Michael like to sing..seems he has alot of favorites… ever.
Michael came to this Country for a singing career..which alot of artist do..so give him a break. He also is As Astralian as Vegemite. Just love him for who he is!! Why would he not be able to sing your Anthem???? he’s as much as an Australian as you are..he just happens to live abroad.
I never said America the Beautiful was your National Anthem only now that Michael is as American as apple pie it must make him happy to be able to sing such a song.
If he was still “Australian as vegemite” as you state he wouldn’t be declaring quite a few times that the American National Anthem is his favourite song to sing ever.
It comes across as a bit insensitive to us Australians who feel just as deeply about Advance Australia Fair and the meaning and emotion behind it as you do about your NA. So some Aussies wouldn’t be too enthusiastic about him singing our anthem after stating how much he loves singing yours!!!

I pretty much cracked up when I heard him say that..that’s when I nicked named him ” Michael My Little Fibber Lips Johns”..hee hee hee. Well, we got to hear him sing Advance Australia Fair ( last years Polo Event) and he sang it with a lot of Emotion and Pride. So my advice is don’t hang on every word that he says. It will make you Crazy!!

I totally agree..I just thought it was funny…considering he says that about alot of songs. don’t you worry..I will always stand Up for Michael..Not that he needs me to.
