Michael & Carly were guest’s on American Idol’s results show tonight.. Here is their phenomenal performance of “The Letter”.. Michael you looked and sounded like the star we know you are.. Your fans are super happy right now! We are so looking forward to the single/album.. So Proud!

You guys gave a great performance but I must admit I wanted to hear another song. It would have been more exciting if you guys had perform “One” by U2. More contemporary music, you know. I loved when you two performed that song on Ellen.

Thanks so much Tara for putting the video here, especially for those of us who can’t see it until later on our own TV. I’ve always loved this Joe Cocker version of The Letter & also love this done by Marly. You both sounded & looked great. I’m excited now that you said the single is a couple of weeks away now – the count down begins!!
i just watched the video again. michael what were you saying with your mic when you first came out. that was really bad, but really funny. carly seemed to know what you were saying. i guess if you have to keep your mouth shut, well what is a boy to do.

It was like heaven being able to see our Mikey sing again on TV. I haven’t been lucky enough to catch any of his live performances since the A.I. Concert this Summer. I am so hoping to see him perform live in Austin, Texas someday soon

I’m so excited still from watching MJ & Carly on AI I can’t stand it…lol…I was literally grinning, from ear to ear, while watching ~ it was AWESOME seeing Michael again, and so great that he was able to put a “plug” in, for his CD….I’m so jazzed I can’t even tell you….lol!!! So proud!!

I had several friends calling me during your performance leaving me messages on my cell and landline saying Tina…your man is on AI right now…you have got to turn it on. Did they really think I wouldn’t be up on that one?? It was so funny, though!!!! This show reaches so many people…it was great exposure for you and very nice timing!!!!

My eyes watered like a little girl’s would when I realized it was Michael and Carly walking down the stage. It was such an amazing feeling. I had missed him so much.

It was nostalgic and so great to see those two back on the AI stage. It was such a bummer last year when MJ was voted off. The rest of the season wasn’t the same.
But now Mikey is climbing that mountain and continues to polish his craft. His stage presence is exciting and makes everybody feel good. Great exposure last night and great timing to plug his “record”….Mr Seacrest owed him one ehh! The apperance caught everyone by surprise and it was humorous the way they faked the stress! Carly is hot and really personable and a great compliment to MJ.
Michael, you were wonderful. My daughter and I were so excited to see you on our tv again showing the new contestants how it’s done.
