All i can say is WOW!
If you would have told me a year ago i would be in the Philippines playing shows and looking at billboards of myself, i would’ve thought you were crazy. I am truly having a blast here in Manila. The people have been so warm and friendly. They love American Idol and MUSIC. Man is this country a music mad place. They have many talented singers here too. I got to sing on TV here a show called ASAP. Three girls sang with me. Sarah, Rachel and Jeng. Very good singers i was impressed.
I played my first show last night to about 2000+ It was so surreal to see all these people having fun and rocking out. I wanted them to stand up and dance more but security would not let them boo. I have three more shows and they are going to bigger and better. Im sure you’ll get video of it all.
I want to say thank you for all the early buzz you have shown me about Another Christmas. It is a song i never intended releasing. It was written for my family a couple of years ago as a presant. However when i showed it to a few people recently they flipped out and said people have to hear this. I then went to my friend Nancy O’Dell and told her i wanted to donate all proceeds to charity. I asked her if i could make her main charity’s ALS and the Red Cross the recipients. It will be available Dec 9th on Itunes everywhere. My David Foster and Friends is out on DVD as Nov 11th. It is such a great concert and a great Christmas presant too haha. The Documentary i help score Dont Look Down about Shaun White is out on ESPN Jan 2nd with the DVD coming out a week later. So as you see i have been busy! I can’t thank AI and you guys for all the opportunities i have once more. All because you guys kept your votes coming in.As always thanks for the support and well wishing. I am still working hard on the Album and it will be out Feb/March 09′

I just watched all the videos from the concert,Michael you are the BOMB ! Loved the originals and the covers were unbelievable. You’re a force to be reckoned with.Can’t wait to attend an MJ concert.
I was on lunch and I thought I would take a peek at MJO. I got there and boy was I excited…11 songs!!! Lunch flew by and I didn’t get a chance to watch them all…but when 4:30 came ’round I scooted home as fast as I could to watch the rest…Great job on all the songs. My fave was “YELLOW”! I thought you looked so happy up there…you were in the zone…like it was what you were born to do. Congrats! I can’t wait to see more!

Wow, I definitely didn’t expect a blog this week! I am so glad MJ is getting such a warm reception in the Philippines; our idol is definitely going for world domination!
I can’t wait for Another Christmas to be released. It’s so wonderful to know Michael wanted the proceeds to go to charity…that spirit is definitely needed in these difficult times.

Yellow and Wonderwall are my favorites among the new covers, though all of them were superb! Perfect songs for your awesome voice. Thanks, too, for complimenting the Filipinos’ talent and love for music. We do have our share of world-class artists from Broadway and West End stars to the new vocalist of Journey! Not bad for a little country. =) Keep rocking and enjoying, MJ!!
