Thanks, Hannah for the tip…
With the TV show in the past, and most of the “Idols” tour behind him, Johns is concentrating on his post-tour plans. “We’re already working on an album,” he said. “Any down time we have on the tour I spend working on the music for the album. I’m hoping to have everything finished by Thanksgiving.”
From a “pared down” list of 25 to 30 songs — including one written for him by Grammy Award-winning songwriter Diane Warren — he’ll choose a dozen for the CD.
“I absolutely love to collaborate, to put two minds together, two musicians working, interpreting what a song can be. It’s so energizing.”
He laughed and said the tour has been exhausting, but “not in a bad way.”
“This tour, it’s just the best. It’s a chance to give something to the people who’ve been so supportive — and, you know, that (’We Will Rock You’) beat. It gets me going no matter how tired I get.”

What a great attitude he has about everything! I can’t wait for the single, the new CD and a tour!!!!
I wonder if Michael would be surprised to know just how many of his fans did NOT vote after he was booted? Yes, quite a few did vote for DC, but AI lost a lot of us after MJ’s exit. I never voted like that for anyone else even though I watched every season, and I never will again!!

I know I (and many others) stopped watching AI after what they did to Michael. The ratings attest to that. Only watched the finale and don’t plan on watching that show ever again. If it’s all rigged and manipulated what’s the point? But glad AI gave us MJ!

ITA dbc!
I’m grateful to AI for giving us MJ, but I have no desire to watch a show that is so blatantly manipulated.

Donna, we’ll be too busy promoting and following Michael’s real success in the real world.

“World” is the operative word dbc!!! Those of us who are his international fans will be trying hard to make him successful outside of the US as well & then he’ll hopefully tour our countries on his Solo Tour!!

I’m not watching AI anymore either. Not unless I know that Michael or David C are making an appearance. I’ll definitely tune in to see either of them, but that’s it.
I loooove reading about his upcoming album. So exciting!!! :):)
