Listen to a clip from Michael's Christmas song, Another Christmas! The song will be available for digital download beginning 12/9/08. All proceeds to go to Nancy O'Dell's charities for ALS and The Red Cross. Enjoy!
Yes. he forot the 30 somethings, and he has met plenty of us, too! But Michael is so proud of his fans and he has shown great appreciation to us no matter how young, or old, no matter what size or color, he loves the heck out of us!
He said it and boy is it true!!!!! I’ll never forget when he chuckled at my “Mum on Lock Down” jersey…a very special memory for this mum on lock down!!!!!!!
Isn’t Michael the total of everything that we all look for? I fall in the little over “40 to 50″ year old Moms and had the great pleasure to get a quick hello and a “squeeze of the hand” after the concert in Charlotte. Michael signed my 9 year old’s “Peace Rocks” t-shirt and had a moment to talk to him. The concert was great…but Michael is the star! He absolutely has it all! Mothers….teens….and all unite! No generation gap here!
Hey MJ you are right and as the ‘MOM” that gave DC your hula hoops for last night’s MAVID in OKC you RAWK us moms! I wish only that I had a chance to meet you yesterday, that was my only sad moment of the whole (otherwise heavenly) day. Your set was electric. HUGS
when I read this in my email..lockdown moms and had to take a peek…ROFL…We are the Rock generation of the 70’s and we know good talent when we hear it, and we are just passionate enough to let everyone know about it..So, Michael, Bravo! You got the Rock generation on lockdown..LOL..oh by the way some of us are grandmothers (smile)
I’m on lockdown too and I’m a grandmother (grand) to my little 2 year old grandson who loves Michael too (he really loves Fire). He comes over and turns on Michael’s music and dances all over the house…with his grand right along with him!!!
I have been in lock down since he first appeared during the auditions of AI. I a tad over 50 and I have heard a lot of good music in my time….lock down for sure. But I have to interject…go Mavid.
This locked down mum is sixtyish but hey, isn’t sixty the new fifty? I’ve been to two concerts so far and met him at each one. He called me “sweet” in Cincinnati, signed “Mums Rule” on my Mums for Michael Poster in Lexington and gave me big mumsy hugs both times. I love all the idols but Michael is my favorite. When I saw that picture of him at Chick-fil-et, my heart skipped a beat because I had given him a gift card just before it was posted. Now, I know he has received lots of them but I’m going to believe he used mine and was thanking me personnally. You’re welcome Michael, I’ll see you in Fort Wayne!
You may think it’s only your looks, but us Moms LOVE your voice as well. I’m on lockdown, as are my 5 and 3 yr old boys. They always ask for your cd in the car!
I saw you in person at the concert in Detroit back in July. I got to meet you for a few brief moments. We took a picture and you signed a shirt for me! You are truly amazing MJ and you and D. Cook and the Mavid dances are the best. You both are so hysterical, best sense of humor ever! I am a mom and I am just a bit over that 40-50 year old deal. But yep lockdown you bet. Any day of the week! Keep up with your singing and entertaining people of all ages! You are the best you saucie aussie you!
I met you outside the Prudential Center the 2nd Newark, NJ concert. You are awwwwsome! Someone yelled out to you, “I love you Michael!” and my Sister-in-law yelled back “He’s Married!” and you mimiced her,”He’s Married!” but with a joisey accent. Did a good job but sooo funny! I love you ,DC and Mavid and I’m going to be 60 in 2 weeks with 3 Grandkids! I’m going to follow you and your music anywhere you go! You and David Cook’s singing makes me happy!!
The reason you attract this demographic is cause we know a good singer when we hear one, having experienced so much good music over the years. I knew the minute you broke into “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long” during the San Diego tryouts that you were the real thing!
