I just heard from Mr. Michael Freakin Australian Johns concerning MAVID.
Hi Allison just want to let you know that David and I won the battle!!! Mavid is back on spread the word and guess what we are bringing the heat tonight!!!!!
Looks like all the protesting paid off. Mavid has been saved and all is well in the world again.

One of my favorite songs by the great Tom Petty “I Wooooont Back Doown” comes to mind right hear and now! This is pretty cool…shows to go how important all the fans really are. The way I see it they where probably concerned that some kind of a protest or demo would be far worse than just letting the guys have their innocent fun. Also they didn’t want it to fester into some kinda negative PR thing regarding AI. So the dust will settle and the show will go on. I guess the AI folks are not so bad after all to be smart enough to nip this in the bud and not be a stuffy hard nose.

Good going! The power of mjo and david-cook.org combined! We can move mountains! I also think it’s amazing the way all 10 Idols have each other’s back. They were together in solidarity during the last few “boring” PDSTM numbers, and it paid off. I’m a guest on this board (I’m a member of david-cook.org) but I (like most Cook fans) love MJ. The Mavid bromance is great. You guys here at mjo are great fans of a great performer.

Very glad that AI responded to the fans, which is usually unheard of from TPTB at other networks. So happy for Michael and David to have some control over what they are doing and happy for the fans to get their money’s worth.

I was there in Baltimore and it was so much fun! Did not know in advance that the MAVID had been revived as I was away from my computer most of the day on Tuesday. Noticed right away that MJ seemed almost giddy and crazy with excitement during PDSTM; when Cookie came out and they did their thing, I was jumping up and down like an IDIOT! Saw numerous signs in the crowd referencing BRING BACK THE MAVID and we laughed our butts off! What a great night!
