Michael Johns and the rest of the American Idol Top 10 will ring the NASDAQ Stock Market closing bell on Friday August 1st. As soon as pics and videos are available they will be posted here.

Does anyone know if this has happened before? Do they do this each year, or is this year really the best year ever?
Donna, I know last year’s group rang the closing bell also as there’s a clip of it on youtube. I think it’s pretty cool!
I hope that someone gets the videos and pictures for me I won’t be home around 4 to see it
I saw it at mjsbigblog! wow!! this is the weirdest video ever. lol. ahahha but Michael made the most of it by being himself. ahhahah. I was staring at him the whole time doing his hand movements. hahahhal
yeah, it was a weird “moment”.
I’d like to think MJ got the second biggest amount of cheers, but maybe my ears are biased LOL
I love that bit of Michael dancing and his hand movements.. the little ones are always so precious…they never really know what to do…LOL

What an awkward video!! Did the guy forget to announce Brooke there for a minute? Wonder why she was out of order. And then all that standing there just waiting, and putting on quick smiles for the cameras. Bizarre. But MJ is cute, as always.
haha, for some reason i found that so funny. i guess it’s because it was so weird and awkward. poor ramiele: her head barely clears the sign! jason was cute at 5:08. and johnsie when the bell rang was soooooooo funny.

I thought 19 and CKX were trying to buy back their shares and be privately owned again. Boring video, but it shows a bit of how much stand and pose in dull appearances when they’d rather be sleeping that they have to do. Put Mike in the front row with Ramielle on his shoulders, so we’d be able to see both of them.
Wow – that looked like so much fun, like going to the dentist. I’d love to know what Michael’s thinking when he has to do things like that – I think he tries to make the most of every opportunity.

They all pretty much look like they would rather be asleep. lol
One month out and I’m sure it’s starting to feel like a marathon to all 10. They will be hitting the 20 mile wall in another 2 or 3 weeks. They all seem to be hanging in there it must be like “Ground Hog Day” in another building each performance. But after all that’s what they all signed up for…and I’m sure the pay’s not bad. It’s a good test to see who really likes to do this stuff 24-7. Imagine being with your co-workers around the clock for over 2 months. No wonder Cookie wasn’t honoring their tour manager having them do silly things like this. Mikey seems to have the guts to tuff it out ….he knows what’s waiting after 26 miles.

What does is say at the end on the big screen outside? DC hearts ???
NY (New York)- You can see him writing something at the end of the video when the bell rings at 7:30. Might have been one of those monitors sports people use to write on the screen.
What a Freak Show, sure glad Michael was there to clown it up a bit. hehehehe
i think Ramiele should’ve switched spots with Archie, you can barely see her!!!
