Michael I am sure you will be just as successful if not more than Shannon here in Oz. You both have that wonderful laid back Aussie charm & humbleness, with a hint of the larrikin & cheekiness which endears you to everyone!! Good on ya mate!!
Just you wait America - let these too loose together & you wont know what hit you.

I bet they would have more than just a couple of beers,
It’s funny how MJ sounds very American on some words, especially when he
says “Shannon” yet Australian on others. I guess it is only natural that he is
starting to lose a bit of his Aussie accent after living in the US for so long.
Shannon has come a long way since his first appeared on idol, he
is so much more confident on stage now compared to a few years ago.

You know as time passes by I can’t wait for MJ’s career to start after the tour.
I sure hope he will be even more successful than Shannon Noll.
He looked HOT with white-tshirt. He should wear white more, don’t you guys think?
I wish he could change his outfit for the AI tour, just to rev things up a bit.
The camouflage jacket is getting boring. JMHO, But he is still HOT!

I agree that Michael sounds American sometimes - mainly in some of his vocabulary and turns of phrase, but I’ve noticed when he says, “Give me a hug”, he says ‘herg’. I mainly detect American accent when he sings - it’s in the improvised bits in between the sung actual words that it’s most noticeable.

I’ve had another listen. When Michael says, “Shaaaannon”, it’s a Texan accent kicking in there.
