And when it comes to “Idol’s” Sexiest Contestant, Michael Johns takes the cake (39 percent) over David Cook (20 percent), Kristy Lee Cook (17 percent), Brooke White (10 percent), Jason Castro (8 percent) and Syesha Mercado (6 percent).

Michael Johns is one talented, gifted and very magnetic, intelligent and a great guy as well ,he is a definitely the sexiest guy i have seen on Idol and on TV , he is my Elvis and he will sweep the nation with his gifted talent.

I’m still wondering why they didn’t have the guys and girls in separate categories. I’d be interested to see how the vote was distributed that way.
To me, sexiness is more than just looks. It’s personality and how someone carries themself. I love Michael’s goofy and sweet personality, as well as his drop-dead-gorgeous looks! He’s a gem!

The first time he walked onto American Idol he had me. I wrote down his name so I would remember who it was that had gotten my attention, then the next week I thought ‘why did I think I would ever forget this guy’. He is so sexy, charismatic, sweet. He is a star.

He caught my eye the first time I saw him audition, then stole my “cougar” heart, when he sang, “Light My Fire”.
I didn’t realize how much he had affected me until the night he was voted off. I was beside myself with anger and sadness for several weeks later and couldn’t understand why…..then it dawned on me….I had “fallen in love” a little bit with him. I’m 51 years old and happily married, so this came as a surprise.
Not since Paul McCartney has an artist been able to excite with me with his talent, good looks and sweet personality.
Yes, he’s the sexiest contestant ever to grace the stage of AI, and it will be along time, if ever, that another contestant comes along with his charm, looks and talent.

Until this moment I have been a passive “locked down mum”. I’ve read lots of comments and agreed with many of them but was never tempted to leave a reply until I read teresa’s. I also noticed he was different when I saw him at that first audition, but it wasn’t until the Dolly Parton song when I knew this one was the real thing. The last time I felt that way I was 16 years old and I heard another idol on my transister compelling me to “love him tender” and “don’t be cruel”.
I felt a great sense of loss when he had to leave, thinking of all the beautiful music that was left unsung. To this day I won’t watch any of the cllips of that part of his journey-too sad. I refused to let him go. My laptop became my best friend. It’s amazing how many really great songs he has recorded. He warms my heart with his beautiful voice. And when I told him so in Cincinnati, he said I was sweet then gave me a big hug. I thought I’d died and gone to heaven.
He so deserves to be recognized for his sexy looks which he knows just how to use to make us all squirm. The very best proof of this is a song he sang, available in the forum section of this website, the Hours in Between.
