If the Dan Band is meant to be funny, they weren’t - gratuitous swearing isn’t funny. Michael’s determined to not fit the sterile Idol mould, he’s probably in a better position than Cookie to be able to be himself at these things. Being married, he’s probably wary of being marketed as soul and rock for the Il Divo crowd. Really, apart from the swearing and the momentary “love in the dark” bit, it was all pretty tame. For a straight, white Australian guy, he’s not a bad dancer - a bit stiff in the joints, but respectable. He’s looking pretty trim and his arse is good enough for a jeans commerical. He might profess to hate his body, but I bet he loves his bum. He does look better shaved.
I’ve never been able to find it in a dictionary, but at a trivia night, I found out that the adjective to describe someone with a shapely derriere is callipygmacious (my spelling there, but I’m a good speller, so it’d be close).

don’t have a sense of humour. It just shows Michael having a good time and how funny he is, keep it coming Michael, especially the dancing. lol.

The Dan Band guy really wasn’t funny, but Michael was hilarious. I want to see him on Thank God You’re Here in Australia. The boy from Oz can do more than sing.

You are joking Lotte. He’s actually lost weight since he went of AI. He was wearing tight jeans which not everyone could carry off as they are either too thin or fat. Michael is perfect as he is. Great vocal performance in this . I just look past the swearing - that doesn’t really impress me, but I looked to the performance & it was really funny.

I thought the video was halarious. Michael is one heck of a performer. I am not a fan of cursing either, but I had no problem with him cursing. In the context of this performance, it was definatly appropriate. Besides, he is the only person that could make those words sound so sexy, and how can you not love his goofy dancing at the end. LOL!

I gotta put my 2 cents in no matter if it makes people mad at me or not. I am VERY disappointed in Michael even going to this kind of so called “entertainment”. I thought that he would have better judgement than this. I was disappointed that he was in the audience with another woman and Stacy wasn’t there but I rethought it and I am hoping that Stacy had better sense than to go to such a “trashy” show. I really liked Michael until this. I wish that whoever captured this and posted it hadn’t done it. I’m not sure what the old saying is but it goes something like what I can’t see won’t hurt me. That is just the way I feel.
