Beautiful performance, but I wish he had known you are supposed to remove your hat (or baseball cap) when singing the national anthem.

Michael sang our National Anthem BEAUTIFULLY!
Note to Marie: Yes, you are supposed to remove your hat when singing the National Anthem, but I believe I saw SEVERAL Cubbie fans with their hats firmly planted on their heads and few to none with hands over their hearts.
In everyone’s defense it was FREEZING cold in Chicago yesterday!

That was fabulous!! I’ve NEVER heard it sung better!! It was funny that he didn’t take his hat off. Oh, well. He just wanted to support the cubs. (he probably wanted to stay warm too. Hee Hee)

That is one of the best performances of our National Anthem I have ever heard, and it is a notoriously difficult song to sing. WTG MJ!!

Well! An Aussie singing the American anthem!! Well done Michael ! What a clear voice on all those high notes!!
I hope he comes back here & sings the Australian anthem one day as well[ maybe at the AFL Grand Final!]
