Michael in the audience at top 3 results show - received standing ovation

Michael proved last night that he’s the true American Idol Season 7 winner. How many eliminated contestants can say they got a standing ovation from the entire audience 6 weeks after being off the show? *blinks*
Yeah, didn’t think so. 
Before the broadcast began, the crowd (complete with a mosh pit of gussied-up local high-schoolers) went crazy for the mostly “Idol”-related celebs who made their way into the studio, including season-six finalist Chris Richardson and this year’s top 12. The night’s biggest preshow applause was reserved for the guy whose early elimination was this season’s biggest shocker: Michael Johns. While his fellow finalists were welcomed with a smattering of screams from the pit, the Aussie heartthrob’s entrance earned a standing ovation from the entire audience.

Well he absolutely deserved that. I hope he was thrilled by the standing O….and the people in the audience are not even a smidgen of his fanbase!!! I loved hearing this..thanks!!!!

And I hope the powers that be took note of that standing ovation too. Plus our giving him 73% of the total votes for “the fallen idol we most want to see on the tour” must have sent a message to them too. I can’t wait to see him on the finale next week!

Wednesday’s Idol: What You Didn’t See(from People.com)
As the credits rolled on TV, all the former Idols in the house joined Ryan Seacrest and the judges on stage to bid farewell to Syesha and congratulate the two David’s on making it all the way. They posed for photos together and David Cook and Michael Johns ran toward each other, jumped and did a chest high five!

Wow!
This just made my day and I hope Michael’s too. I bet it felt good to receive such praise.
Now the only thing left, is for his career to start. I hope all this attention translates in a very successful career for Michael. He so deserves it so much.
Honestly it still breaks my heart to watch his elimination..
He has to succeed after all those years. He paid his dues for sure.
His time to shine will come soon.
Let Cookie get the spotlight on finale night, but a year from now we will be hearing a lot from Michael Johns. I just have this great feeling.
I hope I am right!

I was so happy to see Michael in the audience on last night’s show! I’m looking forward to seeing him on the Idol stage once again for the finale, and then on tour.
I want to see a photo or video of the big chest high five 2!

Omg you HAVE to put footage of that up….did they show him in the audience during the show??? I did not watch cuz I didn’t think he would make any appearances there prior to the finale. I have to see it!!!

We all know he is winner anyway, he has had more appearances and press than any of the other eliminates. Goes to show you IDOL is all wrong. Love you Michael
